Information you provide
We receive the details you submit through Recon, your private account and project inquiries: contact information, business details, website and profile URLs, buyer questions, permissions and service choices. Please do not submit passwords, sensitive customer data or material you do not have permission to share.
Public business research
With your permission, Recon researches your business’s accessible public website, relevant competitors and matched business profiles, social content and reviews. Source URLs, capture dates, raw material, configuration and provenance are retained with the assessment. Private or inaccessible sources are not represented as reviewed.
AI and service providers
Netlify, Supabase and Steel support hosting, private storage and public browser captures. OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), DeepSeek and Perplexity model routes review captured business evidence; some models are hosted through Netlify or Perplexity. Perplexity also supports public-source discovery. Resend delivers transactional report mail, including a PDF copy where it fits the delivery limit. Payment details are handled by Stripe rather than stored in the Recon application.
Your report and owner copy
Your report is saved in your private account. Mic receives the released report and contact details so he can review it and respond about the business or a requested next step. Other businesses do not receive access to your private report. Website visitor identification and related data sharing are described below.
Messages and marketing
Account, report and payment messages support the service you requested. Marquee may send Mic an internal phone alert with your submitted business contact details and the action needing attention; this does not send you an SMS or enroll you in text marketing. A project inquiry or Recon permission does not automatically enroll you in a marketing sequence. Contact us if you do not want a project follow-up.
Storage and access
We retain information needed to provide reports, evaluate website visitor records, preserve evidence, fulfill agreements, handle billing and maintain security. You can ask to access, correct or delete your information by emailing Mic. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate service, security or financial obligations.
Cookies and local storage
The marketing website uses the AudienceLab SuperPixel, delivered through idpixel.app, on its public pages. It starts automatically when a page loads, subject to browser settings and blocking tools. It uses browser local storage and similar identifiers to recognize visits and collect page URLs and titles, referring pages, browser and device details, IP addresses and interactions such as clicks, scrolling, time on page and form-submission activity. This is identity-resolution tracking, not solely aggregate analytics. AudienceLab may match these signals with its identity data to provide Marquee with identified or enriched visitor records, which may include names, email addresses, phone numbers and other available profile attributes. We use these records to evaluate the service, understand interest in our services and support lead generation and marketing. Matching and data availability vary. AudienceLab receives the website signals and processes them under its applicable agreements and privacy practices. See AudienceLab’s privacy policy for its data sources, sharing and choices. The website also remembers selected business priorities and campaign identifiers in the same browser tab for up to 24 hours. Campaign source, medium, name and creative identifiers may accompany a submitted inquiry so we can understand which path led to it. The private account separately uses necessary authentication and storage to maintain your session and unfinished website entry; this pixel installation applies to marqueeandco.com, not the private account application.
Privacy and marketing choices
To request access, correction or deletion of your information, object to identity matching or marketing, or exercise any applicable right to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, email mic@marqueeandco.com. Please identify the request and the email address or browser information needed to locate the relevant records; we may need to verify your identity. AudienceLab’s privacy policy describes its separate database and marketing choices. Browser privacy settings or tracking-blocking tools can restrict collection; clearing local storage does not delete records already received. A website visit does not create a paid engagement or subscribe you to a marketing sequence.
Business briefs and account confirmation
You can begin a business brief before creating an account. The browser can keep an unfinished brief for up to 24 hours. When you choose to create an account, Netlify Identity receives your contact and account details plus the business brief so it can be restored after email confirmation, including in a different browser. Draft details are editable convenience information; they do not authorize research. Your explicit research permission is collected separately after confirmation. Necessary account cookies keep your session available.
Saved evidence and legacy website tools
Marquee retains confirmed research questions, model settings, captured public sources, raw responses, timestamps, usage, findings and approvals privately for report delivery and service accountability. Optional website workspaces reuse saved public captures and checklist notes. Reports are not public share pages. Account ownership is verified by the server; the browser does not receive direct database access. Contact Mic to access, correct or request removal of your records.
